Participate will be able to: 

1 Identify diagnostic criteria found in the DSM V TR as well as recent research related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who identify as having “lower verbal support needs”.

2. Identify common myths that are often barriers to access and appropriate care.

3. Gain knowledge in current supported treatment practices.

4. Identify cultural, diversity,  and ethical considerations that can affect the assessment process when ASD may be present .

5. Identify multiple measures for use in creating a battery that can help to capture ASD.
