FWAPA is delighted to have Dr. Gallagher present an ethics workshop on how to address ethically the intentional and unintentional closing of a psychology practice. She plans to achieve the following objectives:

1. Consider the ethical implications for intended & unintended changes in your practice of psychology, such as moving to another agency, beginning private practice, retiring, sudden injury/illness, or death.
2. Review the APA ethical codes & TSBEP Acts & Rules relevant to active clients and client files when a psychology practice is to be closed.
3. Learn which codes and rules apply to your practice now, even if there is no current plan to close your practice.
4. Have examples of an ethical consent form and a professional will.
