FWAPA WELCOMES NEW AND RENEWING MEMBERS

Camaraderie, networking, free CE's, artistic interests, community, advice, lunch, professional development - we welcome you to join and attend FWAPA events.

Our year began with Michael Flynn, J.D., Ph.D., presenting three hours of ethics CE's to a full room. Attendees asked questions, debated answers, and moved on to Discussion Group chaired by Stephanie Darsa, Ph.D.

We continue to collaborate with the arts community with the FWAPA Art Show chaired by Carol Stalcup, Ph.D., at the Community Arts Center with opening night on June 4 and the exhibition running through June 27. Tarrant area licensed psychologists are welcome to submit entries and to attend the opening wine and hors d' oeuvre's celebration.

Earl Johnson, Ph.D., Community Crises Committee chair, is maintaining our connection with TPA's Disaster Relief Network for information and outreach to Haitians. We are facing defining times. APA has diligently advocated for psychology's identity at the national level. TPA has done the same at the state level. Your support and commitment is crucial to maintaining psychology's identity at the local level: WE ARE YOU!
